The first level casemates in Fort Delaware shown here have openings in the brick wall with the sides on the inside larger than on the outside to put the cannon or guns through. Fort Delaware was a Union Prisoner of War Camp during the Civil War and is located on Pea Patch Island, Delaware City, Delaware

Hello from slower, lower Delaware. I have always loved photography.
